Hey, I think it's very interesting topic to discuss.
Actually, sometimes it's hard to understand, sometimes it's funny to observe and sometimes it's embarrassing not to be aware of other's traditions.
Knowledge of foreign traditions is very useful when you go abroad, especially when it is a business trip. In most business trips it is appropriate to wear austere suit of dark tint and conservative accessories.
But there are some nuances that are useful to know:
- in India people may be offended by the look of leather belt or leather bag, but they will be glad to see bright colors on women clothes;
- in Scandinavia business meetings are often held in sauna;
- white color is a color of mourning in most Asian countries;
- when you go to Malaysia it is better not to wear clothes of yellow color: some tints of this color is a prerogative of the King's family;
- red color is a color of luck in China, it is ideal for business women to wear trouser-suit in this country (in Japan it is a skirt and low-heeled shoes);
- when you come to Iran nothing except face and hands must be uncovered;
- in Switzerland people pay much attention to the quality and embossing of a fabric, the accuracy of suit’s cut.

it's really funny to discover how the people of different nationalities live and to get to know some pecularities...
I was in Germany. And there i had some experience with people of different cultures... I became acquainted with one Korean boy. He was so cute)
Once we ate together... And i was so astonished when i realized that he didn't know how to put the butter on the bread Smile
